General Purpose Cement
General Purpose or ‘Blue Circle® GP Cement’ is suitable for professional tradespeople and for jobs around the house for a broad range of applications including.

Where concrete or mortar has a specific requirement for resistance to sulfate or chloride attack, Blue Circle® Special Purpose Cement is more appropriate.
Concrete Mix
Blue Circle® Concrete Mix is a proportioned blend of dry aggregate, graded sands and cement suitable for all general purpose concrete applications where a quality concrete is required.
Typical applications – general smaller concreting jobs like:
- Footpaths
- Slabs
- Footings
- Garden edges etc.
Rapid Set
Boral Cements Blue Circle® Rapid Set No-Mix Concrete is a proportioned blend of dry aggregate, graded sands, cement and additive mixture suitable for post hole applications where lower than normal strength is acceptable
Rapid Set No-Mix Concrete CANNOT be mixed in a wheelbarrow or mechanical mixer like normal concretes. The additive used in the mix reacts instantly with cement allowing very little to no mixing time or compaction. It is easy to use, just add water. Requires no mixing and allows a fast, effective and fuss free method of erecting posts/logs.
Typical Applications
- Ideal for setting fence posts, logs, clothes hoists, letterboxes
- for any application requiring the fast setting of some support pole structure.
Sand & Cement
Blue Circle® Sand and Cement is a proportioned mix of selected graded sand and cement binders designed for the builder and home handy person. This product can be used for all kinds of patching, bedding and landscaping work. Typical applications – general purpose landscaping applications such as:
- Bush rock jointing
- Bedding for some paving and tiles
- General bricklaying (for superior performance, we recommend Brickies Mortar for this application)
- Repairing damaged concretes and mortars
- Can also be used a general render over bricks and blocks (for a superior result, we recommend our Uni-Render for this application)
